talked with some people who had conversations with people on the Hill.

1) the survey was done by the ACC not SU. They just passed it along so that explains why it was so poorly executed for gathering data for SU, cause they wont be using the data
2) there are some passionate people working on the problems we see here, they are not being allowed to fix some of the obvious things.
3) the silver seat issue is known and a solution is being held back by issues that cant really be explained.. Money is one reason though.
4) There is no wifi/cell issue in the Dome .. They are not aware of that issue.. That one amazes me..
5) The OutOfTown score board runs multiple times a game every game?? I know it usually runs at strange times and with weird results, but did I miss it every time last week? Did anyone here see it?
6) Dont expect good use of the replay board any time soon. Marketing is driving so many things in the dome that the fan experience from a football fan perspective is way down the list.. Much more important to link to tweets and facebook and the kiss cam..
7) there seems to be a concern that they dont wont to blast too much information too often to the fan base. Nothing is better that too much.
8) the things we see on this board as lacking in the game experience are the vast minority of what they want to fix since we have the minority opinions at the game. Dumb it down to the casual fan
9) More marketing of useless stuff at the game to keep the fan invested in coming back. More windshield washer/Time Warner promos/Weather from the wrong day. Less scores/highlights/stats..

Nothing surprises me there. Don't expect change while DG in charge. He should just let Pete Sala take over and then we'd see a 180 degree turnaround.

Not the similarities between this report and Nancy's exit interview with syracuse.com. Nothing wrong with admitting that things could be done better.

I know it's what you were told, but I don't believe all those things to be true.

There is no possible way this can be true, no way the people handling this are that stupid. I can't tell are you being sarcastic? Please say yes

Maybe the anticipated major changes coming with the new leadership for the Chiefs will open some eyes for the management team at the Dome. I am not optimistic but one can always hope.

are you trying to hit a homerun here, swinging for the Teflon...I like it

the question was asked about lack of information. two examples were given. 1) the DM ceremony 2) tv schedule for upcoming games

the response was that the information is available . go to our website or google it. and that the information for TV was sent out months ago. they do not want to keep blasting people with redundant information. I dont think that a blurb on their site that says the game is on TW is good enough. Google is not the answer to every search. People forget things

I will ask again did anyone see a out of town score last week.. They pay for a service to provide scores.. Its a terrible service but thats ok , they are trying.

#9- ive heard other teams fans refer to our games as "like a minor league baseball game atmosphere" which is true and one of the things that i think needs to change

was told thats the way our fans want it..

It's not even a good minor-league atmosphere. A good minor-league team would have promoted the hell out of having McNabb present with giveaways, appearances, etc. This was a huge missed opportunity. Someone mentioned videos playing during breaks during the game and how cool would it have been to show a McNabb highlight and have the current players talking about it. Even more embarrassing was the comment that SU did what McNabb wanted...so do something horrible and then throw the blame on the honoree, that's a solid approach.

I challenge anyone anywhere to show me proof of any kind that fans enjoy the constant droning of ads, shilling for products, etc. Or the blaring of rock music whenever possible, at the expense of not hearing the SSS or SUMB play.

I know no one from SU has ever asked me about it.

I find it almost impossible to have a phone conversation during halftime or a timeout. I have talked to many people who attend games about this. Don't know anyone who likes this kind of environment. Maybe they are targeting the 15 year old demographic?

I wouldn't know since its been 2-3 years since i could get a cell or wifi connection in the Dome.. I think the football fans are seen as the last 10% of the people at the game so they are trying to entertain the other 90% they feel are there..

If I can actually connect to the wi-fi, it's fine. Getting it to connect is the problem. Cell service on the other hand is a disaster.

the new cell phone changes they made were only to work with the ATT network. anyone else is out of luck.

I didn't see any out of town scores at the WF game.

thanks. no one has said they have. su says they showed them several times.

We were looking but never saw any.
