Pitt: We will win this one by 10 or more. Team is going to be fired up.
As to the other games i believe we can beat FSU. Similar to LSU they are loaded. The key is to get an early lead. Their frosh QB wont beat us through the air.
Miami is solid but beatable.
Clemson we put up a good fight but cant hang with a playoff team.
Louisville is a better NC State. Unless Jackson is out i dont see it.
Wake is gonna be a shoot out. We win at home.
BC tougher than we think as they will play hard for their coach knowing it is his last game but we take them.
6 wins and a heck of a future.
 
not sure why not. LSU and NC st turned out to be be doable on the road. if we think we can beat Wake and they had FSU beat then who knows.. the way FSU is passing protecting they may a walkon back there by the time we see them.

I think all of this is pretty much a given; not sure why it even needs to be stated...
 
win the 3 at home we should win , then beat one of fsu,miami or louisville or shock the world and beat clemson on friday the 13th

Part of me is hoping that some switch is going to click very soon and Dino's vision of the team is going to come true - the high-tempo offense is going to really take off, the OL is going to come together, big plays happen.
But the logical side of me thinks that every remaining game is going to be, at best, a toss up.
 
We could win or lose any of the remaining games... Clemson is the least likely.

But at least it will be exciting.
 
arent we due for a team to play their dud game against us? no one dropping the ball, throwing Ints, missing kicks, LSU made 11 penalties a game until they saw us then 3.
 
This might be the hardest road schedule of all time. Who was the genius who saw two long trips to Florida and decided to add a road game vs LSU to the schedule?

However the home schedule is about as manageable as you can get. None of MTSU, CMU, Pitt, Wake, BC will end up top 60 this year. Having 2 Ls against that group is inexcusable.

Pitt we have had bad luck against them lately but in reality that doesn't carry over. They suck this year.
Wake will likely be on a 5 game losing streak going into out game.
BC is a 3 W team that can't score points or move the ball.

Because of the MTSU L, you need to win these 3 to have a decent season. Well unless you upset someone on the road.
 
still a shot that 5 gets us to a bowl game. shoot fsu could be 4-7 if they dont wake up. beating Pitt/BC probably knocks them to 4 win max. UNC might not get to 5.. BYU wont get there either.. LSU might totally tank for all we know.

Miami is better than "solid" they are probably gonna be in the ACC Title game and they are soon to be a Top 10 ranked team either by this Monday or the week after most likely.

I think we win 2 more games this year. Out of Pitt, BC, Wake we will win 2. After that I don't see any unless FSU continues to rack up injuries and we steal one vs their 2nd teamers

I know at LSU sounds scary, but they aren't anything special this year. They beat a terrible BYU team, Chattanooga, and us. They were annihilated by Mississippi State and could very well lose to Troy tonight. It's similar to the 2012 season where everyone thought USC was awesome and they finished 7-6.
 
FSU lost 2 more oline starters today.. no business winning that game.. whose to say someone does give us one like that too.

i believe the lsu game was scheduled before the @ miami was scheduled

People give Wake too much credit. I expect them to lose at Clemson, at GA Tech, Louisville, at ND. That will put them at 7-12 in their 19 games leading into our game. Their Ws being SU (in hurricane), UVA, Temple (Bowl), Presbyterian, at BC, Utah State, at App State (blocking a FG to win it). They also found a way to lose to Army and BC during that stretch.

Is Wake getting better? Yes, but they still aren't good and certainly shouldn't beat us in the Dome.
 
The fact of the matter is that physically and we are in position to win these games. We just can't execute. In my experience teams that play dumb don't really tend to get better over the course of a season... I'm a bills fan so I speak from experience with regards to dumb teams.

Basically we give up 4 big plays a game through poor tackling or blown coverage... so we are automatically down 28 points going in. Our offense probably leaves at least 21 points a game on the field through mental errors and the refs so to overcome our D and O and the zebras we need to be in position to score 49 points a game just to tie. Or we have to hope the other team makes enough dumb mistakes to let us win like MTSU almost did.

I just don't see us winning many more games given how many mistakes we make. It's a testament to the players and Babers that games are still close even in spite of the mistakes and the refs.
 
3rd and long QB scrambles have done more to kill this team over the last 4-5 yrs than anything.. we let a slow QB get outside us twice today and MTSU killed us there too so did LSU..

our jet sweep gets our guy rocked.. NC st runs it for 20-30 yds. our WR screens got zero today.. NC sts got 7-8-9 . Sometimes the simple things hurt as much as the big plays. We were in the backfield a ton today but their backs could make a sidestep and turn it into positive yards..

I think we win BC and Pitt because the ACC refs won't have a southern team to help. I'm joking of course. Sort of.

I hate Wake. I say we get that one.

Sure. I can buy that we knock off one more. Somebody's gonna deuce the bed and we'll be the beneficiary.

Not unless our defensive line takes off their cement boots, not to mention our running game...
