ND was the better team. They didn't need - and certainly didn't deserve - the one-sided officiating. I counted about half a dozen plays that could have made it a closer game. There were 2 OPI on ND - not called. Big, obvious pushoffs. The call on Fredrick was out of the blue - there was contact but it wasn't any different than ND CB's that were granted a "letem play" standard all game. And the ball was 3-4 feet over the receivers head. Ridiculous. Then there was an apparent fumble by a ND WR in the middle of the field. Caught it and had it stripped. Fumble recovered by SU. No call and no review. Then there was the Trill/Book strip. Took it, and possessed it inbounds. No doubt. On camera. No call. No review. Wow. The DPI by ND in the endzone. The guy had NJ's R arm pinned before the ball arrived. No call. We wouldn't have beaten ND yesterday. Too good. Too experienced, big, strong, fast, well-coached etc. A very good team. Hats off to them. They didn't need the horrible officiating to win.
