We should thank him for that but he wasn't going to be the guy who runs the restaurant long term.

Unfortunately, when Marrone was leaving, he decided to take our top chef and an inspiring young waiter.

Ultimately Marrone's tenure will be defined by how his successor does - if Shafer does well he will be remembered fondly - if we slide back to GRob levels Marrone will be somewhere between irrelevant and hated.
