As the season approaches, I'm brought back to a burning question I've had for years.

One of our favorite activities is tail-gating up on the Hill with friends. Over the years, we've come to settle on the Garage at Waverly & S. Crouse. We're always covered from the elements, within walking distance of all the bars, eateries and most tailgates we'd want to attend.

Every gameday, I look out towards Marshall St. with Hoople right in front of us. Obviously, the same crowd has been there for years, or, at the very least as long as we've been at that garage. (We used to be at the church across Marshall St., but, relocated when they demolished it and built a parking garage there.

MY QUESTION IS: The Orange SUV / With the flag pole in front of Hoople with corn-hole & beer pong and music ---- Who are you?

I've meant to ask the board for years, but, always seem to forget. I mean, let's be real, you've got to be here.

We tailgate in that same garage. We will have to join forces.

ok, so this got me thinking too.

for GIANTS games...who parks in Lot E, right next to the sidewalk to the road which separates Lots E & D??

guy has a RV, flies a Syracuse flag, always has music blasting, a TV and a decent tailgate going...with a lot of booze...not beer...BOOZE.

I walk by it every game on my way in.

thanks in advance.

I've often wondered the same thing.

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with the actual name but hoople is the building they just recently gutted? Free parking To the left if you look from the parking garage near the Big giant tree? I mean there is only one orange SUV with giant flags waving so you must be talking about the same guy. Our tailgate and there tailgate merged about 12 years ago. Last time I checked, which was at the beginning of last year, he was not on this forum. He actually had never heard of it. Extremely nice guy, absolute diehard. Can carry on a conversation with the best of them. Stop over and there will be a beer waiting for you. I have got 2-3 of the tailgaters to join this group as casual observers over the last 3 years, just not him as of now.

Ha. I remember that RV when I parked in D near that sidewalk for easy exit.

Awesome! Thanks for the invite!

You have been part of our view for entertainment for a solid six or seven years anyway. I think the first year we parked in that garage was Robinson's last. Holy schnikes, that was almost 10 years ago. I can't remember when the parking garage was built on University though just North of the Sheraton.

Regardless, we'll have to catch up. I think our schedule lines up pretty well this year, and we'll be able to make like 4 games... That's the most I've been able to hit in 3 years.
