He makes his team better than any other 1 player in my opinion, I get game plan and watch the kid player whenever I can. He makes more plays scrambling than I can remember since Mcnabb, like always said I doubt Baylor gives a rats ass about o line play

I'll bet they do.

Hard to drop back and have time to throw with a OL--whether you can make plays with your feet or not.

I watch Baylor as tha is my undergrad alma mater. Last night was phenomenal. Yes, I believe RG3 is the most electric player in football and arguably the best QB. What he and Coach Briles has done in Baylor is nothing short of miraculous. Great win for the Bears last nigh. Awww Sic 'em Bears!

Baylor has better talent than people think. RG3 is definitely fantastic but they are playing well despite losing two 1st rnd picks...Phil Taylor and Danny Watkins. This is an excellent QB group with RG3, Barkley, Luck, Jones, etc...

A very impressive kid.

Heard him interviewed following the game. Very impressive.

Would give anything to see a player like that in orange and blue.

OrangePa, I think that is the most attractive attribute about RGIII--he is humble. He gives thanks to God and then to his teammates. He comes from a military family and has always been well grounded. A great spokesperson for Baylor U. Wish we had such a man at SU.

The above stated is why everyone hated Tim Tebow. Confused why everyone loves Griffin and hates Tebow. For the record I like both of them.

One played for a power house school and got the ESPN Favre loveathon.

The other went to Baylor and is overshadowed by Luck and Barkley, etc.

I like Tebow now because he is the underdog. He was anything but that in college.

Anyone who "hates" Tebow even when he was at Florida is an ass. RG3 to me is the most entertaining to watch of any college player, my point about his offensive line, is that the blocking breaks down A lot, yet I doubt there fans are discussing how bad their O Line is, RG3 makes it work, once we get a QB who is our best athlete on the field, or close to it, we will be much better on offense, I think we have two guys that can fill that role. Unfortunately, we will have to wait one more year and that is fine, I guess.

I hear that from a lot of Syracuse people who don't go to football games anymore- Syracuse is very boring to watch. I don't fully agree but can see their point as well, we play in a dome!!

Hey IB who taught that offense to Baylor's coach?

I hear you, Briles is a Leach disciple. Old RB coach from T Tech, if you look at his OC's now they have a very very strong background in High school football in Texas, Baylor is recruiting better than ever as well. Good scheme, good recruiting= success. The system is Briles system which comes from Leach, Look how they have the inside and outside receiver coaches as well which is a Leach thing. Amazing thing on the offensive side is he has hired really young assistants who can recruit, looks like more experience on the D, with Phil Bennett

Baylor has 3 kids on their roster who aren't from Texas, wow. Marrone should look at one of their Co-offensive coordinators if possible, take he CO title away and you never know, I wonder who calls the plays?

eventually the leach mumme offense is going to spread to people who aren't nuts. conformity is so important to moving up the coaching ladder that by the time you end up at the top, the offense you've conformed to is all you know. so it's going to be slow but eventually there will be a big pool of normal coaches who've moved up that ladder knowing a better offense.

Leach is CRAZY!!! yet three of his old coaches are now head guys, and one will be in a few years as well.

craziness gets watered down in the family tree. mumme is a total wacko. leach was a little more normal than him. leach's "children" will be a little more normal than him etc

Griffin's adoration of God is nowhere near the level of Tebow. Tebow can't take two steps without kneeling to pray (hyperbole here).

So what? People hating him because he has a devotion to God goes to show you how *cked up our country is. I'd rather he got on a knee and prayed rather than act an ass like Desean Jackson.

Best player in college playing a "college" system under an heir to a guru, 14-9 in his 3rd and 4th years as a starter.

Limited qb under an unqualified HC and OC running a horrible multiple NFL style offense, 13-10 in his 1st and 2nd year as a starter.

Just sayin'

Yeah, look at the points given up in those losses. Lowest opponent point total is 36. 2 in the 30s, 3 in the 40s, 4 in the 50s.

So the moral is to get that offense, get that QB, and play better defense.

And even though he has plenty of experience, to say it's his 3rd and 4th year as a starter is a little misleading. 2nd year he only played 2.5 games.

I don't think it is his devotion to God rather than his ostentatious behavior exhibiting his devotion to God. Some people think it's a little "in your face" and uncomfortable with it.

Big East versus Big 12, takes over a doormat over the last 30 years

I don't like it all that much either, it's a bit much but I do like Tebow and he is a great role model. My only complaint with him is he could tone it down a bit with the religion aspect...

IB, do you live in Texas? Are you going to the Baylor-Tech game in Jerry World? I went to undergrad at Baylor and follow their team closely.

I think a lot of people forget that Kurt Warner was the first NFL QB to ruffle a lot of locker room feathers with his religion. I don't think it's a huge deal however I believe Kurt Warner was even a little more pushy on the issue then Tebow.
