Prosecutors allege Adidas executives funneled $100,000 to the family of a top recruit - [URL='https://www.thescore.com/news/1384427'][U]believed to be[/U][/URL] five-star freshman Brian Bowen - to ensure he'd play basketball at Louisville, an Adidas-sponsored school. Louisville [URL='https://www.thescore.com/news/1384427'][U]reportedly suspended[/U][/URL] Bowen this week.

Pitino was placed on unpaid administrative leave Wednesday along with athletic director Tom Jurich, but has [URL='https://www.thescore.com/ncaab/news/1384795-pitino-continues-to-deny-wrongdoing'][U]denied any wrongdoing[/U][/URL].
