The problem for Oklahoma is that they beat tOSU early (Pope Urban wasn't ready, we'll give him some slack); they play Okie-Dokie-State (which is only a rivalry because teh State of Oklahoma wants it to be a rivalry, but let's ignore the W/L record here), and the rest of the Big 12.
The problem for USC is that they play the PAC 12 which is overrated more than the Big 10.  The Stanford win was nice but USC should beat Stanford on principle alone; Texas is not respectable at this time (not sure they will be); and did I mention they play in the PAC 12, where even if teams are good, nobody knows because the games are on after everyone goes to bed! Oh, and let's not forget that the NCAA will obliterate them if they win anything by taking away wins and trophies for allegations of wrong doing; despite many schools repeating the same actions but being completely excused for said wrongdoings  (See Bush/Newton outcomes for comparison).
The problem for PedState is they play in the B1G.  Sure they have a nice record and fancy stats, but they play nobody until game 7!  Six body bag and tune up games before getting to the meat of the schedule:  Weeks 7 (UM) & 8 (tOSU) and then get a dessert of a schedule for the last four games.

So, yeah, we got a chance.
