The defense has been good most of the year. It's even better when it leads to offense, which hasn't happened much the last couple of games. Glad to see it did a few times tonight.

Made in jest. Winning with defense and putting teams in a meat grinder is what I was referring too. That is how we won the Louisville and Cincy games.

Hopefully the defense continues and we get James back to help out the offense.

Kindof agree but the ND game is a strange time to call us wisconsin style.

We only took 45 shot attempts. Have that up to 53-54 we probably put up 70-75. Thats not alot of attempts. Its how many shots you shoot as well as fg%.
By comparison Wisky is averaging 56 spg. For the season we are averaging 60. So just a low shot game.

We Shot 49% from the field one of our best perfomances of the year.
We only had 9 turnovers.
We only had 7 offensive rebounds.
We made 15-17 freethrows .
Most of all ND was just bad or slow at attacking this years zone. I think they only made one or two threes in the second half. They really took the air out of the ball.
Those are huge determiners.

Dion, Scoop, KJO and Fab put up over 40 of our ppg last year and we are missing southerland.
