March Madness is upon us and we are making preparations for you to follow the Orange into the post season. This email contains information you will need if you wish to purchase tickets for men's basketball post season games.
On Sunday night, March 13 we will learn where the men's basketball team will play. Specific information on opponents, dates, times, location and prices will be available at cuse.com as soon as the information is released. The following general procedures will be in place:
Men's NCAA Tournament
If Syracuse is selected to play in the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, 2014-15 Athletics donors at the Director's Level ($5,000) and above will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets. Those patrons will use their MyCuse account to purchase starting at 10:00 pm Sunday night. (They will receive an email with game details and an order link that evening.)
If tickets remain at Noon on Monday, March 14, men's basketball season ticket holders and 2014-15 Athletics donors at the Assistant Coach Level ($4,999) and below will be able to purchase via their MyCuse account or at the Carrier Dome Box Office. At 3:00 pm, if tickets still remain, they will be available to the general public at the Carrier Dome Box Office only.
Men's NIT Tournament
If Syracuse is selected to play in the 2016 Men's Basketball NIT Tournament and host a first round game, all Syracuse University season tickets holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets. Those patrons will use their MyCuse account starting at midnight, Sunday March 13. (They will receive an email with game details and an order link that evening.)
Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis (a patron's usual season ticket locations will not be reserved due to the short turnaround time). Beginning at Noon on Monday, March 14, all ticket sales will be open to the general public, online at Cuse.com, by phone at 888-DOMETIX, or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office. All online and phone sales will be Print@Home or Will Call only.
