Always watched his station growing up when the Sports time slot came on. He was the best we had.

Always liked and respected him. he was the first local sportscaster to focus on the local scene, especially the high schools, and let the national media do the national stories. My mother was a teacher at North Syracuse High and told me how much the coaches these and the kids appreciated that. Jack was also my all-time favorite Chiefs announcer, a great story-teller but with a an economical play-by play style that was unique. "Grounder to short, flip to second, on to first - nooooo!).

I remember when he was the morning man on WHEN Radio and the Syracuse Chiefs' color analyst with play-by-play man, John Harmon.

He was a terrific broadcaster and a very nice man.
