There was no need to make a man who was intelligent, very good at his job and well respected into a cartoonish buffoon.I hated how they portrayed West as a socially awkward spaz on the HBO Lakers show. The writers had a great story to tell and make some bizarre mischaracterizations to try and make a 'sexier' story. It is too bad better writers were not hired to write those scripts.
