In Memory of Jimmy Durkin - The Chiefs would like to take this moment and honor the life of a friend, a father, and a legend. Inducted into the Wall of Fame last year, Jimmy had been On Board long before the phrase was coined. He worked for the Chiefs for half a century selling popcorn, scorecards, and programs to all who attended a Syracuse Chiefs game. Our thoughts go out to his family, may he rest in peace.

Some of my earliest memories of attending sporting events, besides the Carrier Dome, were going to MacArthur Stadium with my family and hearing that booming voice of his hawking every product imaginable. It almost became a comforting constant over the years. You knew it was Summer when you heard him. He'll certainly be missed.
