I don't really "know" Coach Gleason but I've had more than a few occasions to interact with him over the years (as have Shrmdougluvr Jr and Shrmdougluvr III). He was never anything but outgoing, warm, energetic, positive, helpful - just a good dude who really seemed to love coaching and working with kids. I remain hopeful he will end up ok, but if it doesn't work out, his loss will be significant to Capital District lacrosse community.

Still can't believe this is real. What a terrible freak accident. He is turning things around at Siena too. They were in the gutter under the previous coach and just had an 11-5 season, ending with a loss to a quality Albany team by just 2. This is so terrible. Really hope he manages to pull through.

Gerry's office was next to Liam's and the programs were intertwined. The LAX players were supposed to get their MAAC championship rings at half time of the basketball game vs Niagara, but they postponed it. Even so, it's still going to be very sad at the game tonight.

Tomorrow is the memorial service on campus, being held in the on campus basketball facility (maybe 3,000 seats) and I expect that to be tightly packed.
