i grew up a dolphin fan. #22 merc was a great counterpunch to kiick and csonka .
i pulled up his career stats and saw that his 1st 5 NFL tds as a dolphin were :
1. 105 yds 2. 9 yds 3. 96yds 4. 45 yds 5. 94 yards. such an explosive runner.
( i believe larry csonka and mercury morris were the 1st duel 1,000 yd backfield.)
and i toast along with him every time the last undefeated NFL team falls.
and tonight Eugene Mercury Morris i'll toast to you .
