What I recall most about his recruitment was that GRob went down to have a face-to-face meeting with Parker, after a football practice.  Cantey got done with practice, excused himself after briefly meeting GRob upon stepping off of the practice field, and then went into the locker room to quickly shower / change into a suit before coming back to sit down with the coach.
 
GRob mentioned at the time how impressed he was with Cantey's professionalism, and how he never had a recruit show up in a suit before, and how taking the recruiting process so seriously reflected on his character as a leader / conscientious student-athlete.
 
I know that Cantey's career didn't go as well as hoped here [kid never could seem to add on weight needed to play LB], but this is sad news.  28 is way too young.
