This is a reminder of how old JB really is. Almost 80. I really hope he stays with us for a long time.
Rich Duffy is one of those people who came in and out of my life multiple times. I first knew him in high school (we were from nearby small towns in then-rural Northern Westchester), and I then knew him at SU. Fourteen years later, we were classmates at Columbia Business School where we hung out together. Finally, in recent years, we kept running into each other at SU basketball events.
I don't know if we needed that last line.Rich Duffy is one of those people who came in and out of my life multiple times. Rich was a really good guy ... even though my multiple fund-raising efforts in recent years failed to garner any support from him for SU basketball.

You have to wonder what the purpose was of that line, very uncalled for.I don't know if we needed that last line.
