Some of us know him better as "Spearchucker" Jones whom he played on MASH on TV. He was also in the movie but played a different character. Definitely an interesting wikipedia. A great football player, a singer, an actor in a bunch of shows and a correction officer. Back then a lot of football stars became actors. Not so much any more.

Interesting that two actors from the movies from that generation passed away within days of each other and they played two of the most iconic roles. I don't think we will see any more Spearchucker Jones or anymore Galore's going forward.

I saw him return two kick offs for TD's vs Dallas in a one point upset win in 1966. Interesting guy who I always thought may have been overshadowed by other RB's of that era.
