He was also in the movie but played a different character. Definitely an interesting wikipedia. A great football player, a singer, an actor in a bunch of shows and a correction officer. Back then a lot of football stars became actors. Not so much any more. Interesting that two actors from the movies from that generation passed away within days of each other and they played two of the most iconic roles.
