To Rak and BMK 12-13 season territory with the missed dunks. Yikes.

Yeah...the first one was a doozy. The second one, meh, a lot of people in the lane. I give him a pass for the second one.

He needs to slow down and let the game come to him.

He really does, the drive through the lane with the made layup was sweet, he rose above everybody for a couple if rebounds but he is forcing shots, that last one with the guy in his face was just bad.

Part of the problem is he's been an alpha dog and now his time is limited, so he's trying to make 3 plays at once. he'll be helpful in the future but now he's too raw. Next year, he'll be a big contributor.

Roberson dials back the gain on his engine a tad, and he's going to be something to behold. Plus, guys need time to adjust to the college game.

Go to sleep, Ali. It's the wee morning hours in our neck of the desert.

I agree about the game coming to him. We'll get there. He has the big man yips, but just as Cooney has done and is still in the process of doing, Tyler's time will come.

what will you think would happen when chris comes in next year....will they both play the same position.?

as for grant...I think he needs another year before the NBA .

Chris is starting and taking Fair's minutes IMO. But then again if Grant stays we have Rak, Grant, Roberson, BJ, Silent G (to a point) and McC fighting for minutes at two positions (Rak will get some time at the 5 as well if Coleman doesn't get his stuff together and with the RFreshman Chin).

McCullough is a talent that we don't see very often he doesn't get minutes I really think that hurts us recruiting the upper echelon of high schoolers.

I think Roberson is more of a SF and McCullough is more of a PF.

If Grant is projected as a lottery pick a few months from now, which I think is likely, then I think he'll enter the draft.

he would be a fool not to go if he was a sure fire lottery pick.

but not every team has needs for his position and it's looking like a banner year at that position on kids that will be drafted higher

Grants not going to be a lottery pick. I love the guy but this years class is just far too good and Grants jumpshot isn't even close to where it needs to be. He might be able to catch the tail end of the lottery but I think he's in the 15-25 range.

I still think Roberson is a 4. I said that awhile ago when people were calling him the next Billy Owens and would be getting 20 minutes a game and was being laughed at. He hasn't showed anything on offense that says he's a 3. When playing the zone it kinda doesn't matter on defense if you're a 3 or 4 anyways.

This is why I am less concerned than others regarding what we have seen thus far. I think the rotation is going to be much different by mid / end of season than now. I actually like the tempo the team played with near the end when the younger guys were in. I see lots of talent an aggressiveness on the offensive side of the ball with them than with the current rotations we are seeing. Wait and see, I think we are in for a bumpy ride early on that will begin to pay dividends down the road.
