Roberson was so good yesterday. Not just the rebounding but he was sprinting up and down the court every possession. I was 50/50 on caring if he came back or not but i 100% want him back now. Ill take the tradeoff of him disappearing througout the year if he turns into beast mode in big games like at duke and most importantly the tourny.

I remember people not wanting dion back his soph year, but he was pretty much the only guy who showed up in our tourny loss to marquette. That game was the reason i wanted him back, guys that play their best in the biggest games.

I rewatched the game as I always do and made it a point to focus only on him. He was playing some great D sliding all over the place as our wing players have to do. He has it down quite well now. As someone mentioned the other day our defense for maybe the first time all year had a bit of that Indiana game look to it with MCW et al.
To this day that is the best I have ever seen a zone perform.

That Indiana game followed by the Marquette game were incredible. We really locked up Oklahoma in 2003 too. They were getting shot clock violations, throwing passes into the stands, etc.

Yup he was giving 100% effort in every phase of the game. Hes our x factor, if he plays like that we can beat anyone, as we saw in the win at cameron.

If we keep getting that version of Roberson, this team can make the final four.

There's no question that when this team is on, they are a top 3 or 4 seed quality team. Roberson is so important to this team hitting that level.

We can get by tomorrow without beast mode Roberson, but if we get to the sweet 16, he becomes the most important player on the team.

I cant remember if it was me, being Ive consumed a lot of beverage since St Patrick's day, but I do remember saying something about the Indiana game D. We may need something close to that level if this team is to make a serious run, and I'm glad people can see a glimpse of it. I'm with you, and remember coming on here after I got home and asking folks if that wasn't the best D they had ever witnessed from SU. I think I heard something about Oklahoma in 2003 in reply. I hope Boeheim does what MTSU's coach did and gets the team believing they're going to win, and it leads to that level of defensive play.
