Roger Ayer’s sucks soo bad.

Google him. He lives in chapel hill NC

Kidding I have no idea where he lives. But I know he sucks

I thought the comb over was legit...

Easily 4-5 years b4 full shave required.

Lol JB told him to call the game after that.

It looked to me like Judah was simply attempting a shot - his arms were moving to a shooting/lay-up position.

It was not a flagrant foul.

And the first charging call was clearly wrong - a loss of a possible three-point play.

It's unfortunate, but it's part of the game.

Still, you have to love the Orange's effort and vast improvement.

It's unfortunate, because that was a such a great game. Hate to see calls like that with such an impact on the outcome.

Roanoke native and former firefighter. Maybe he should go back to his day job lol.

He’s got the ball up by his face, moving the ball from right to left going up for the shot. I don’t understand at all how that’s a flagrant foul let alone an offensive foul. I have frankly never seen that flagrant called on an offensive player in my life.

The flagrant call was put into the rules for rebounding elbows. Not for guys going up for shots total Bs call… same with the other phantom charge call.

Just pass it around the perimeter and Chuck 3’s. That’s all they want in the game now. Makes it a lot easier to ref and nobody will ever get hurt!

Maybe include a game of horse, with the winning team getting 5 extra points.

Fun!

Overshadowed what at times was an actual fast paced game. I thought I had returned to the 80s and 90s for a second. Full court speed is so much more entertaining.

Too much clutching and slow play has really hurt the college game. People want to see scoring, not grabbing. The officiating in college is awful
Compared to the nba too.

just call the foul on the reach and then at least we get shots out of the bad call.. but in no world can a guy going to shoot a shot like that be called for a flagrant foul. how else do you get the shot off.. this wasnt a post move clearing space

True

Compare and contrast how a similar hit to the face was officiated in the Duke / VT game.

This is a foul on Mintz. lol.

I'm sure I'm in minority, but I think this call and the first charge on Judah that negated an and-one were way more egregious than the flagrant. You hit a dude in the face w/ an elbow twice, you're gonna get a flagrant, inadvertent or not.

Roger Ayers screwed up a game-deciding call in an Ohio State game last month too, and the Big Ten admitted it was a mistake after the game. There needs to be more accountability for these refs.

I get it. I just hate calls like that because they effectively end a great game without seeing how it would have played out. And I know, if someone just elbows a guy at the end of a great game, you can't just disqualify it. But as out of control as he seems, he's trying to use his arms to move the ball to a spot to get the shot off.

He can't be the only player in college hoops that tries to do it all himself, and it can't be the first time an elbow hit a guy's head on a drive. This sport is so full of mediocre talent. Guess I'm just curious how it's judged elsewhere.

But yeah, we had our chances. Guy misses a free throw, and Girard, in attempt to save it, tips it right back to that same guy for an easy 2. That couldn't be more Syracuse right there. Mintz shot on the play before that was off by about a centimeter.

The Mintz shot looked good. Hindsight's 20/20, but he should've pulled up for the same shot on the last possession.

This was called a flagrant 2 and Leaky Black was ejected from the game. It was a basketball play, inadvertent but dangerous.
