The NCAA pays travel costs. I was told that if a school is within a certain distance (maybe 250 miles?), the NCAA only pays the bus costs, so the school pays extra if they choose to fly. I believe this came up when SU went to Pittsburgh and choose to fly there.

The travel costs and bussing vs flying doesn't irritate me as much as the hotel situation does. So big name schools stay in Hiltons and Marriots while smaller schools stay in the Holiday Inn? Am I the only one who thinks that's hilariously unfair?

I hope they do, too. They are my Cinderella team! I have them going to the Sweet 16 (however, playing VCU - so that didn't work out!). I've heard that Hunter is a great coach, according to the Atlanta papers. And his son seems like a decent person.
Right now Cincinnati and Kentucky are playing. Go U.C. Can I only watch the Cincinnati players and close my eyes when the UK players are shown?
