1) UCONN will never end up in the ACC. Listened to an ACC insider on college sports radio on SIRIUS Friday and he said that conference wants nothing to do with the school in any way, shape, or form. That Coach K can fight in the press for them but Coach K doesn't carry that kind of weight inside the entire conference to get them in. It might be a ploy to get MORE $$$$ out of NBC actually because right now ND has ALL the leverage! NBC sports is dying and they are starting up a new all sports network in a month. NBC is out of the MLB and NBA business. If they lose Notre Dame they are out of the college football business. They get 1 NFL game a week, which is nothing. They lost UFC to FOX. They have no college sports to speak of. If they lose ND you might as well turn off the lights on NBC Sports because it becomes Golf, Tennis, NHL and 1 NFL game a week for a couple months.
