Spain took the series 3-1, but Wilson's goal capped off a three-goal second half comeback in the lone Irish victory. Wilson has already proven she has a knack for scoring her first goal in big moments after her first collegiate goal came as the game winner in the NCAA Championship game. Russell, who's final assist in the NCAA title game allowed her to leave Syracuse as the program's all-time points leader, captained the Orange to the first national championship in program history this season and earned NFHCA First Team All-America honors, as well as Second Team All-ACC accolades. Former Orange standout Gillian Pinder, who played one year at Syracuse, is also on the Irish National Team. Russell and Wilson's experience with Ireland is the latest in a string of current Orange to play at the international level.
