I was reading about the rip tides earlier this week before finding out about this. No deaths were reported at that time yet. Just terrible, they are no joke. RIP Ryan.

Former NFL QB Mallett dies in apparent drowning

Former Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett, who went on to have a seven-year career in the NFL, died Tuesday in an apparent drowning at a Florida beach, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office. He was 35.
