I found this on Roku. Will this app stream Syracuse games it shows the football game against Wagner at 1:30 on September 8 but have a feeling it’s only audio not video. Is that correct.

I have a Spectrum account in Florida with ESPN, ESPN2 no ESPNU it’s called the streaming plan. But when I go to access Watch ESPN it says I am not eligible. I called Spectrum and TV Internet person No idea why I couldn’t get watch ESPN and told me to contact people ESPngood luck doing that

From experience, my Watch ESPN app never works outside my house, and it’s always Comcast’s fault. The ESPN app has a tech support text line and they tried to help me trouble shoot there for like an hour before I figured out it wasn’t their issue.

Not to insult your intelligence, but are you certain you’re not trying to log into ESPN+ or whatever the new thing is? I’ve done that three times before realizing I was on the wrong site trying to login.

No that app is outdated and hasn't been updated in over a year. Did you activate the ESPN app from your computer put in a code, select your provider enter password etc.? You have to make sure you are signed in
to your account on a device before you try and activate the app.

Nope. I went to the watch ESPN app loaded it it went right to ESPN and asked me to put in my service provider I did as it is Spectrum It did not give me an opportunity to put in my ID and password but a window pops up and says I am an ineligible call my service provider I did and they don’t know what the hell they’re doing

Great points. I've had the Cuse TV app on my roku for a couple of years and never used it.

As you mentioned, you have to activate the ESPN app on any/all devices you plan to use it on. Very simple process...especially if you use your computer to register using the code on the device you're registering.

You also use the app with your smart TV, although I prefer using my roku.

Yes that’s what I did when I lived in Albany with Spectrum as my service provider. I put in My Spectrum ID and password. Now it goes immediately looks at my Spectrum account and says I’m in eligible does not give me the opportunity to put in an ID or password. And Spectrum can’t figure it out so they tell me they don’t have the resources to deal with watch ESPN so I need to contact them because it’s their problem.

If ESPN is part of your paid programming then you're qualified to use the ESPN App which includes ESPN 3. Strange situation. I hope you get it figured out.

not every plan qualifies for watchESPN though.. being a strange streaming only plan perhaps they didnt pay ESPn the fee to allow it to be used?

I have Spectrum in the Tampa area. I had the same problem on my computer. Could not get WatchEspn to work. It would open, but everything was locked. Called Spectrum, no help. Finally tried different systems. I usually use Firefox, so tried Chrome, then Edge... works on Edge, but no other internet servers. So maybe if you try some other server, it will work.

I just moved to Bradenton Florida. When I couldn’t get watch ESPN I called Spectrum and they told me that it wasn’t their issue that I had to call ESPN. When I called the next day they told me that it was a system problem and they are working on a fix. They said that it effected more than just me. So I will tell them that TampaLaker was effected also!

I just moved to Bradenton Florida. When I couldn’t get watch ESPN I called Spectrum and they told me that it wasn’t their issue that I had to call ESPN. I had issues also trying to watch a game Saturday night but I'm in Kansas.

I was locked out of WatchESPN while traveling this past weekend as well. Fortunately, the DirecTV app allowed me to watch my program. I just checked, and it’s still happening. Locked out from ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. ESPN3 and ACCNX work fine. This is recently change. Hmmm...

Apparently the system fix Is still not implemented. So Spectrum customers who have ESPN still do not have access to watch ESPN. They have no idea when it will be fixed. But since I brought Their attention on September 2 I get a credit I through today of $6!
I told them that I’ve been on the plan since August 24 was promised that I was able to watch watch ESPN. So call And report it now because they’re not gonna fix this thing in a month of Sundays and at the very least you can get your credit back to the day you called them.
