and UT would match whatever number Saban named.
I doubt Saban ends up at UT, but I could definitely see it happening. Maybe he wants a new challenge? One thing is for sure - Austin is a helluva lot better place to live than Tuscaloosa.
I totally see that logic.
Saban seems to be somewhat at the mercy of the current success and not having much fun. He is a builder more than a sustainer and one can argue his legacy is furthered if he leaves a Bama and they go down a notch...which inevitably does happen in the cycles of any sport.

If he wAnts a challenge he should come to Syracuse.
If he wants a challenge he should come to Syracuse.
There's as much chance of him coming here as there is him leaving Bama for Texas. If he wants a challenge he should come to Syracuse.
I laughed lolI would have seriously mixed emotions about that. Im not sure we could afford him much less what his players are making.
So you're saying there's a chance? There's as much chance of him coming here as there is him leaving Bama for Texas.
He'll book as soon as the NCAA actually looks at what is going on there.
Well if he did, we would be able to hire another top notch coach as we would be significantly better in 4 years than we are now. So yeah I'd be ok with thatSaban has yet to prove he can win with players on an even playing field (read salary, he flopped in the NFL!). If he went to any school other than an SEC school, he would already be at a disadvantage as his kids would not be paid or paid as much as they are in the SEC. Can he win with non-paid or underpaid players?
As for coming to Syracuse, assume he did, wouldn't he be gone after 3 or 4 years for his next new "thing"?
