there is no question he was in...and nassib was in as well the play following that.

I watched it again last night and looked like he was in and then pushed out by the USF DB. Luckilly, it doesn't end up mattering.

So we scored 3 times in the red zone. Sometimes things happen for a reason, if they had declared it TD, BJ Daniels would have been able to get maybe 2 attempts at a pass down field setting it up for a game winning field goal. With only 3 seconds left, no time except on a miracle TD kickoff return.

not conclusive from that angle. ball is in his right arm and not visible. from that anle it would appear from the waist up he is in, but that isn't true and is only due to the angle. although if there had been a goal line angle, i believe the ball would have been shown to have been over, it's just that that p;ic doesn't do it. good thing it didn't matter.

Funny how things work out sometimes. SU's near the goal line and the instant replay official gives it a no look, fumble picked up by Wilkes gets a nice long look and gets turned over. Yes, it wasn't a fumble but there seems to be a bit of a theme going on here.

i couldn't pause it better than that but he's already getting hit and pushed back there

ps good job by sales hanging on to the ball and not reaching out and fumbling

The BE is doing their best to give us going away gifts whenever possible. Every time a plays goes to the review booth I cringe. If there is any subjectivity in a play, we know which way they'll lean. I wonder if the hoops season will be similar?

I didn't think Sales scored live...I look at that picture and I don't see the ball.

Nassib was in, but they were going to tag us with a penalty... is there a 10 second runoff in college? If so, Holtz saved us from losing that game with his TO.

The flag thrown was going to be for off sides. The USF player was lolly gagging back to the line of scrimmage and never got back. He was at least 5 yards behind the line.

Don't have advantage of replay but if Sales is stopped but gets first clock sb stopped at 10 with first down. After ball is spotted and chains moved clock starts and Nassib sneaks . There then is 1 second on clock. Hmm took 9 seconds? Luckily the TO . And they reset to 6 seconds. And penalty was for? Illegal procedure? Sittin in stands without the advantage of tv info everyone little confused. And then the review announcement comes after all of this and says little except there was a review of play prior to nassib dive. It was what more can the refs do to determine who'll win.

I think a little home cooking on the clock may have helped unless it's a ref on the clock.

Holtz saved himself a penalty. They had a guy off sides who was still in our backfield. There was no penalty on SU.

Thanks for clarification... I was watching on my iPhone so it wasn't as clear.

he was in, proving it is the hard part. but only part of the ball has to touch the white line. the ball was not below his waist and his waist was actually on the line in one frame. there is another angle on one site from the other side that shows the ball.

Yeah, I looked at it as a free play.

Good screen grab. When I watched the game last night, you notice his off hand also lands inside the endzone. Not that he had the ball in it, but it gives perspective to the other replays.

No doubt he was in, but no angle could conclusively prove it.

Just imagine if we'd LOST the game on Saturday somehow, after Sales and Nassib both had probable TDs negated in those final seconds.

Luckily, it ended up not mattering, but I was really nervous on Saturday in the waning seconds that we were going to get hosed.

I wonder if the Commish (whoever he is) is firing the crew for missing the Hickey false start on the 4th and 1. Could have been a game changer.
