Saturday’s officiating crew

I know that in college football non-conference games, the officials usually come from the visiting team’s conference. The contract for this game says so. With UConn being an independent team, whose officials are we using?

These are the things I think about.

Whomever they are I can guarantee that they (a) have a deep rooted bias against Syracuse and (b) will purposefully make calls that harm us for dark and nefarious reasons.

Mora has complained bitterly about them and to be fair, there was at least one big call late in the Wake game that did not go their way.

I remember years ago, Notre Dame used MAC officials. It was always a bone of contention for home teams against Notre Dame, because they felt like the MAC officials knew they had to favor Notre Dame or they’d lose that contract.
