RUNNING BACK
When the going gets tough, Hershey gives the rock to Harold Brantley. He runs high, but his 280-pound frame is a load to get down.

DEFENSIVE LINE
Leaking a little oil after a stellar opening month. Last three games has surrendered 565 yards after allowing only 259 yards the first four outings. Brantley is a beast in the middle.

McNabb: 'I should still be in there'

The return of fullback Tony Fiammetta might actually help more than we're realizing. He is a true fullback and the Cowboys signed him for a reason. While John Phillips was a willing blocker, he is 6-6. Most battles in the trenches are won by staying low and that's why you just don't see many taller fullbacks like that. I think Fiammetta will bring a spark to a running game that desperately needs one.

“They want to be a physical team and run the ball,” Steve Gregory said. “When they can establish the run, they can set up the play-action and all that off of it. That’s what they are and that’s the philosophy I think that they live by.”

“It makes it tougher when they can run the ball. Obviously if they start gashing you with the run you have to start coming up and playing it a little bit more physical and that’s when it opens up the play action,” Gregory said. “Defensively, your goal every week is to stop the run first and make them one-dimensional.”

Joining them as probable are right tackle Gosder Cherilus (knee), rookie linebacker Doug Hogue (hamstring) and cornerbacks Chris Houston (back) and Eric Wright, who sat out Friday's practice with an illness.

Addai's potential return could put a wrench into the plans of fantasy owners relying on Delone Carter getting the bulk of the carries this week. Carter wasn't going to be a good play vs. the Saints anyway, but if you're like me, you may not have a choice. Playing a Colts running back this week, though, is toying with goose eggs

'Bout time, fella. It's almost 11:15. Were you out late celebrating last night, out early golfing this morning - or both ??

There are times I hate Bud, but then there are times I love him:

And just like that, the crack made by Oliver Luck, the loony West Virginia athletic director, about how the Big East Conference would be better off with that pending trade of SU for the likes of Navy inched that much closer to “Dewey Defeats Truman” foolhardiness.

:)

Cheers,
Neil

Wow, when did it disappear? Toga, to be honest I have read, semi-read, so many articles, blogs, watched so many videos, I can't honestly remember. I did skim it and there were things of interest to us as it pertains to the ACC.

"The SEC has certainly worked overtime to have everyone believe that the world should come begging to them and that anyone they offered membership to would come in 15 minutes," Barron wrote in one response. "Everything I know is that the ACC Presidents are committed to the ACC."

"In a lengthy response, Barron wrote that three primary factors would drive any FSU decisions regarding conference realignment: The academic standing of conferences, the potential for team success and the potential financial gains."

Lot more including:
SEC is looking for new markets and recruiting territories: UF already covers Florida.
