No excuses out of JB, I want to see two OOC games vs a list of teams consisting of: Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan St, Baylor, Texas, Michigan, Kansas, Ohio St, and perhaps Memphis.

We have the talent that needs to be challenged early in the season vs those teams. I'd like to see 1 true road game and 1 home game out of that group. No whining, no excuses, just schedule the damn games.

Agree, I want to see better competition next year, I want to see where we stand early in the year.

You do know that there's no way half those teams will ever agree to a game in the Dome.

Paypal Cal isn't coming ... the Big XII isn't coming, and Thad isn't coming.

Izzo and Memphis already gave us home & homes.

You might get Beilein.

Maybe get one of those teams in a preseason tournament. I think we are in that Bermuda or Bahamas thing that UConn played in, aren;t we? And for some reason I think Baylor is in that too? I could be making that up.

What you will most likely see is a mid to lower level non-ACC BCS team home and home start. So I will guess a home game against Alabama with us going there the following year.

I'm hoping to get UK as part of the BE/SEC challenge. I'd settle for going to Vandy or Tenn as part of it, though.

If OSU can travel to Kansas, they can certainly come to the Dome.

Love to see us travel to Texas or Michigan. Some place that could pose a challenge but is still winnable.

Nahh man. UK will get Providence or Rutgers.

Wondering if, given the possiblility this is the last season in the BE coming up, he'll schedule NO big games with anticipation of starting OOC series with Gtown and Johnnies the following season.

The Bahamas thing isn't until 2014 or 2015 I think. It was reported on a message board that SU would play in the CBE Classic in KC next year but that is not the case. Looks like SU will play Temple in MSG and (I assume) UK or Vandy in the SEC-BE Challenge.

If I were JB, I'd start a home and home with WVU.

That would be the absolute worst case scenario.

moving to the acc is going to do wonders to our ooc schedule...

Unfortunately for those of us in Kansas City, no CBE Classic - Teams for 2012 are Kansas, Saint Louis, Texas A&M and Washington State

Why? Would this season have been better had we played more BCS teams in the OOC schedule?

I mean if you're saying it from a fan's standpoint, just that you'd like to be able to see us play better matchups...that's a fine reason.

Just not sure you can justify that the team "needs" to be challenged early in the season. You might actually argue the opposite...there will be a lot of new faces in the lineup and they may need time to gell before being thrown to the wolves.
