Not trying to start a Rutgers bashing thread which bringing up the name always does, but was curious.

It has been long rumored that Penn State was the job he wanted - is that still the case or does something terrible like this change his perception?

Penn State assuming they avoid NCAA sanctions and they will because these charges are criminal and not really NCAA violations sadly are going to get Urban Meyer. Penn State job has Urban written all over it. He will make a ton of money and will be in an easier conference and won't have as much pressure as he had at Florida.

I don't think it would change his perception at all. If anything he might find the job even more appealing. PSU is always going to be successful, so he rides in using all of the same lingo he's now using at RU and the PSU fans eat it all up. He then wins, even if it's marginal he always has a fall back for having only limited success at least for a little while.

He would never turn down a chance to coach Penn State. No way in hell. This is a guy who has a major superiority complex. He'll want to be remembered as the guy who saved PSU.

Even after all this, I doubt PSU goes outside the tree for a new coach. They'll go for someone who played in the glory days of the 1980's, if there is someone out there.

I think what the PSU administration, and its athletic department in particular, has committed the greatest offenses in the history of sport. Yes - even worse than the Baylor thing because of the timescales, the number of people involved and the enormity of the crimes. The man repeatedly committed what I personally consider to be a capital offense - - and those fvckers knew about it.

Put them all in jail. Electrocute Sandusky. And board up that schools football program for a decade.

But, hey - I guess I'm a reactionary when it comes to the rape of children.
