scoring and yardage are starting to converge (the wrong way)

i know opponents are a big reason for this but earlier this year we were baffled at how a team ranked so high in yardage could be so bad at scoring

well it looks like that problematic gap is being eliminated slowly but surely

112th in scoring, 89th in yardage

maryland is still making up a good chunk of the p5 schedule to date so we're 68th in yards vs p5

I think the QB injuries are a big factor. Long can run but we don't want to risk injury so we don't run him much. Hunt's running was a big part of the yardage we were getting.

i don't think they're in a position to be worried about that. maybe that changes now that they feel like they can win some games
