Some of our best teams had scoring margin against D2 teams less than the scoring margin this team has had.

08-09 only beat Indiana of PA 73-63(won 27 games)
09-10 lost to Lemoyne 79-82 and won 30 games
11-12 beat college of St rose by 18 and won 34 games

Comparatively...

14-15 beat Adrian by 49 and only won 18 games
07-08 beat Lemoyne by 50 and went to the NIT and only won 21 games
16-17 we beat Lemoyne by 33 and we know how last year turned out.

I’m not saying I can guarantee we won’t struggle, but let’s stop pretending these games are a barometer of what happens during the season. History says they are not.

yeah and - by way of more example - MichSt this year, clearly one of best teams in the country, came fairly close to losing to a DII team... none of the exhibitions or even then reg season "cupcakes" can really predict anything - last year is perfect example
