With the TO's, definitely not something you can count on year after year. But in the same sense, it's a direct result of the style of defense we are running. Other than the difference in offensive production, this team is really similar to the Chicago Bears teams with Urlacher and Devin Hester. Tampa 2 defensive philosophy and really good Special teams, the Bears also ran the ball really well and would have had a good passing offense if Rex Grossman didn't think everyone on the field was on his team. But the defensive philosophy is causing these TO's just as much as anything. Pressure on the QB, pressure by their offense to score, forcing them into passing situations, play a lot of zone to take advantage of bad throws. The only thing I don't see this team being great at but I see the effort at times, is stripping the ball like the Bears did. If the team did that too, on top of the fumbles and INT's, I think we would see similar TO margins year after year. We've gotten lucky with some weird fumbles by the other team in a few games but we've also forced a lot of TO's through different types of pressure. I don't see that going away because it's the philosophy of this type of defense.
