Eck, that write up on Syracuse.com doesnt exactly leave warm feelings about the game. Hate to say it but this team might really struggle this year at the X and at the Goal. The X is really surprising based on how many guys we have brought in

Not sure your point. If they were thinking of redshirting him, and he didn't play, wouldn't that indicate they were indeed going to redshirt him?

No what he is saying is that due to the bad play of Lerman SU coaches may have to give him a look next week especially if he starts giving up goal after goal again. I have major concerns about next weeks game vs Albany, this is not a great opening matchup the Thompsons will surely be a pain in the ass and the issues at the X continue to be very frustrating. I hope Buhr can get something going or Desko has something up his sleave or this season might get out of hand quick.
