No imagination, says Alex Scarborough

ACC compared favorably: "The bottom line is, these schools played it safe. Meanwhile, the SEC’s favorite punching bag, the ACC, won the coaching competition, with Fuente going to Virginia Tech, Mark Richt to Miami and Bronco Mendenhall to Virginia. All three are names that fans can get excited about."

Cuse fans need to contact him and ask why Babers is not on that list.

Sirius College Sports Radio was talking about this today. That these days SEC schools really only want a head coach who has spent significant time coaching in the SEC and they don't consider enough non-SEC coaches. Now the Missouri hire goes against this trend but the Georgia and South Carolina hires are proof of this. Especially the South Carolina hire of Muschamp which was getting killed today on the radio. That he couldn't win at Florida and somehow got this job and $3 mill a year. It's because of that SEC arrogance that you MUST have a coach with experience within the SEC and non-SEC'ers aren't considered

ugh the SEC...with that being said the Big 1O Championship game may go down as one of the most boring in history

What nobody wants to talk about is how the SEC has become Alabama and 13 dwarfs.

The SEC East was the worst division by Sargin ratings of any P5 division.

The SEC West outside of Ole Miss has been dominated by Alabama.

The hype narrative has gotten out of control for the SEC. They are good and have been for a while but Alabama has dominated. The ACC is on the rise. If Syracuse, Boston College, Miami, Virginia, Virginia Tech improve more the conference could be rival the SEC.

"Meanwhile, the SEC’s favorite punching bag, the ACC..."
The punching bag has won more games over the SEC than it has lost in the last two years. It also has more national titles since 2013.
