SEC teams - impermissible benefits

Good to see Yahoo living up to its usual reporting standards.

What???? The SEC?????? I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. This is harder to believe than when I found out Unicorns weren't real.

let me take a wild guess...you still believe in ghosts

Too bad the NCAA is afraid of the SEC. They know they can't push them or they will just leave and take all that money with them.

This is why college football is a joke. Nothing will be done. If this was a smaller school, ie. Syracuse, they would throw us to the wolves to "sacrifice" someone. You know that is true, too.

Can't touch the big boys though because they are paying the juicy salaries of the NCAA heavyweights.

Alabama will just hire a NCAA enforcement staff member to run their Compliance- just like Oregon, Kentucky, and others have recently done. That's what's funny about schools saying they can't pay athletes, yet they spend good money hiring people to try and keep them out of trouble. Ohio St. pays 15 people to work in Compliance- people who wouldn't be needed if the NCAA was gone.

I love what Saban said... to paraphrase "The Alabama administration hill handle this" He knows the NCAA will not touch Bama and the problem will be fixed in no time. These guys make the Chicago voting system look like it's on the up and up.

This looks rock solid. Shouldn't Bama lose their NC for using an ineligible playe?

My thoughts exactly. I'm more shocked someone actually wanted to report on it.

???

81% of the NCAA's revenue comes from TV rights... primarily from the men's basketball tournament.
