Watching Cisco and Trill all season, the size and skill has been pretty evident from the beginning. And then, to see Iffy throw a day together like that yesterday was great.

Still, you've got Coley & Jonas as part of the same class developing as well.

Thats 5 FR, eligibility wise in the secondary.

Fredrick, Scoop, Foster, Cordy & Jones are all Jr's in terms of eligibility. Clarke and Stritz are sandwiched in there as So's.

We've gotten bigger, faster and more savvy in the Secondary with nothing but time in front of them. What a job recruiting and turning around the Secondary.

Very talented group, that absolutely looks the part. Significant amount of Sunday potential in there.

Iffy was a beast yesterday, deserves the chance to start next week.
Between Fredrick, Trill, Iffy & Scoop, we have 4 CB's I'd trust right now. That's a very good thing. When's the last time we said that?

Even when Marrone was rolling out Reddish, Ri'shard & Keon, I don't think those guys had near the ceiling these guys do. And they had cups of coffee in the NFL/CFL.

The UNC QB played as well as I've seen him play and hit his spots and gradually you could see these DB's getting closer and closer to the receivers...sizing them up like velociraptors.

I seem to think that under Marrone/Shafer, the cornerbacks needed a full four years to develop. I Reddish and Lyn may have flashed earlier, but Anderson in particular didnt come on until his senior year (when he was awsome making tackles in the flat consistently). Cisco, Williams, and Melifonwu show more athleticism and ability (probably not polish) already. Frederick and Foster have developed nicely. Need Coley and Jonas to develop now. I think Cordy has been passed, and Scoop will be passed by next season. Both will bring valued, experienced depth though.

I think that Clarke is going to end up being a star. He has great range and the kid brings the wood.

I heard Meli's interview after the game and this young man is a very intelligent player. Bradshaw (or is he a junior?) and Cordy are the only 2 seniors so I think SU will be in very good shape back there thus giving Coley and Jonas time to get their game speed on.

I do think Cordy has been passed. His athleticism made him stand out a lot in the past. Now he just looks small. Everyone in the secondary is equally athletic. I think his injuries have made him less aggressive on tackles which means he misses tackles or bounces off.

cordy as your stop gap /nickle DB who can do specials is fine. you need someone like that.
