With Bryant being located close to 300 miles away from St. Joseph’s, the NEC championship game could have major implications on the matchups for the play-in games. Should Bryant win and UMass win the CAA, it would make sense to see these two teams play, with the winner traveling to Syracuse. If St. Joseph’s win, the selection committee may choose to have the Hawks host the winner of High Point and Richmond, given its proximity to a major airport. ..
