Your time is up? Are you saying you’re not going to take advantage of a fifth year?

I’m still undecided. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do. I haven’t had the talk with the coaching staff or with my parents. I have an idea about what I want to do, but I’m gonna wait. I’m 50-50. It’ll be whatever is going to benefit me at the end of the day and make me happy.

I know people love him here and he seems like a great person but his game is not high D1 level.

He should grad transfer to a D1 school in state. Bonaventure, Albany, Binghamton etc. Somewhere he'll get 30mins/game and his family can see him play a lot.

If he transfers, I would assume Albany. He originally considered transferring to Albany bc the head coach is a former marquette assistant

I'd love to see him try Binghamton out. They are getting better and I know I would try and make it a point to get up there and see him play since it's right in my backyard.

That campus is nice and what they have done to build things up around 434 and the student housing options makes it a lot better. If you know the area and region around it well enough there is nothing wrong with spending a year there. Arena is nice as well. 20 years ago I would have agreed with you but not now.

It might have gotten better, I haven’t been back in >5 years but it wasn’t exactly a paradise at that point. Buffalo, Albany, Syracuse have all seemingly gotten better while Binghamton and Rochester (seemingly) continue to struggle. Maybe he will find a lot of joy there, certainty wasn’t my cup of tea

So I'm from NEPA about 25 mins south of Bingo. A lot of family that lives in Broome County along with NEPA including one that worked at Bing for 30 years. I don't think you can stack it against those other 3 so no disagreement there but as an opportunity to play hoops in a nice arena and as a college venue its got plenty going for it vs how it was 20 years back. Even in the last 5 years it's better, granted CoVid did a number on places all over.

Also its close enough to home for him that for a quick stop, while being still close to family and also being able to be the feature guard for your team- I can see it doing just fine. Again though it's got its positives still even if it's not quite the other 3 cities.

Symir I could see going even somewhere like St Johns too given their style or another NYC school which obviously that's a different class of environment.

No. It was pretty cool. Almost a log cabin type building like a ski lodge. Lots of big timber. Might have had a fire place too but since it was almost 50 years ago it’s a tough recall. I do recall the beer. Lots of beer. And bar food too. Lol.

I just remember being young and thinking I hit the fancy beer jackpot when I was having Molson or Labatts.

But I also like Bud Light, Coors Light, etc. Never been a craft beer guy or anything.

Not to go too off topic, but every time I go back to visit Bing, I stop at the Wegman's in JC and pick up a 30 pack of Labatts Light (Trying to be better about calories now that I'm not a high schooler drinking in the woods).

Still love it.

In Buffalo growing up you drank Canadian beer. I miss Labatts 50 ale.. Genny 12 Horse or Kochs Holiday beer or Deer Run ale when down to your last few bucks.
