Maybe we should start the season off with two consecutive byes? Then play 12 straight weeks. Save Gross the hassle of doing his job.

So maybe we can one of Wake or Pitt week 2 on a Friday night.

Has to be Pitt or a road game. Wake would be bad if Pitt/BC will close the season. Too much time on the road in the middle.

Not positive, but I think there is something in place where we always play Pitt and BC to end the season.

@BC appears to be the only viable option for Sept 11th...not sure how hard over the ACC is us ending with them in Nov...moving it sets off a chain reaction. I don't see that happening.

However, we could go down to Tally or Raleigh on Sat, Sept 12th (they both have an open spot).

My guess is we go to Tally...we'll be (or should be) 1-0 and much easier to get a 3:30pm ABC regional kick.

My other guess is NCSt travels to BC for Friday, Sept 11th. One minor issue against this is NCSt will have 3 away games in a row...but 2 of them are against ODU and So Alabama (not exactly murderers row). Another complication for NC St is the State Fair will take away two more home dates (Oct 17 and 24th)...but Oct 17th would be a good bye week for them.

Agreed...I think SU at FSU is the most likely outcome for Saturday Sept 12th.

lets hope so because the bye date in week 2 is Bull spit. Bye weeks in weeks 1-3 should be banned by the scheduling gods

with only 1 bye week its much more likely byes will be from late septemeber to early november

2. put it on friday 9/11, NY & PA...and then keep it that weekend every year, for both reasons.

if pitt was available week 2 id be all for it. Pitt should be moved off 2nd to last game and replaced with Louisville .Make pitt an October or early November game
