[QUOTE="SoBeCuse, post: 2753223, member: 796"] The lifestyle issue is a factor. Dealing with traffic and such. This isn’t the deep south or Canton, Ohio where all the kids live and die with football and nothing else to do. So what if you can’t live ON the beach? You’re close enough to it anywhere in LA. Certainly from Westwood, Santa Monica (obviously), Brentwood, etc. The Coliseum is awesome. A real nostalgia feeling like at Ohio Stadium. Beg to differ strongly and it’s undergoing the start of a huge renovation currently. The area around campus has changed a lot. Visited there in June. A train stop by USC/Galen Center now. All that has been cleaned up. All the way from campus/Coliseum to downtown is nice now. Downtown has also expanded almost all the way down now to USC with thriving urban life. Used to be really sketchy and empty going up Figueroa towards downtown and Staples Center. USC bought up a lot of wasteland around there and to the N and W of campus. University Village is sweet now.
