That is what he makes it seem - I'd love to see RU get left out but it doesn't seem likely anymore (who knows, maybe they grab PSU while they are down)

All the media attention that has been put on the PSU scandal might be a good thing. Takes the focus off expansion and allows for cooler heads to actually talk things out without the media pining for info 24/7. I hope it's not ND and Rutgers but if UConn does get boxed out, I'm not sure who else could be the 16th member? Vandy, as stated before, would be a good fit. Just don't see it happening though.

A couple of those media tweeters like Swaim (I forget which ones exactly) have been saying that for a few days now. Doesn't make it fact yet but that is where the expansion "talk" is right now.

Rutgers in the Big 12? Who will their big rivalry game be with? WVU? I guess if Rutgers is going to a "BCS conference" the Big 12 is better for Syracuse than the B1G or ACC in terms of recruiting. Don't most east coast kids grow up dreaming about playing in Ames, IA, Manhattan, KS, Stillwater, OK and Lubbock, TX? Granted, the chance to play Oklahoma and Texas will have some appeal, but I can't see joining the Big 12 as a recruiting bonanza for Rutgers.
