I was absolutely baffled by that. They made such a huge production of predicting a Syracuse loss. All I could think was, at an operation like that isn't there somebody who actually knows something about basketball that could have warned Seth Davis that MTSU had little to no chance of winning that game?

Maybe the people who know their stuff were happy to sit back and laugh at Seth Davis humiliating himself?

I just don't know why anybody would take time out of their day to watch these guys break down games when its clear they don't know their stuff.

Isn't it obvious? We watch so that we can rip people who are paid to make some level of predictions and are wrong almost half of the time. Then we can chide and humiliate them on the internet (while laughing that our OWN brackets were busted by 4 pm on Thursday).

I loved Wally saying that "they will shred that weak 2-3" or whatever, when the only guy with a brain (Stallings from Vandy) said "you think it is weak because you've never played against it." At which point the moron responds: "Actually we did play against them... (pause) ... and lost."

(That games by the way - was very nip-tuck with SU's weak defense holding them to 53 points and winning by 19) *eye roll*

This is a bit ironic, as on Selection Sunday he was one of our biggest supporters before the show---only one I saw that suggested a chance at a "bye".
