Yeah I can't imagine a lot of thought went into picking that upset. Montana was the type of team we never ever lose to. Not big. Poor rebounding and poor defensively. Come on Seth there had to be more logical ones out there. How bout the Harvard bandwagon? You would be looking like a star this morning!!!!

You are right. He didn't make an informed prediction. Just off the cuff on national TV to get some attention.

He was picking whoever Syracuse was playing. I believe he based it upon how spent the SU players looked in the second half of the Louisville game. He didn't consider that they just beat three Big East teams in three nights, two of them very good teams, particlarly with Big East officials and allowed to play their type of defense. And they destroyed Louisville for 25 minutes until they ran out of gas. Seth didn't think these guys had the heart to win. Seth was wrong, and hopefully his words provide fuel for our guys to keep winning.

I stayed up to watch it. Pretty lame [I wish I'd gotten to bed 30 minutes earlier], but I give Davis credit for [1] doing it on national television, and [2] taking his lumps over making such a lousy prediction.
