Class of 2023 SF Marcus Adams (CA) Offered

The fact his parents and coach are coming is important. I’d say SU is in pretty good shape. Also, the fact no other visits have been lined up is also noteworthy.
That's my sentiment as well. Candidly, and I didn't put this in the article, per the AAU coach's request, but he's hoping to get this unofficial to SU (with their parents being there, that's big) done before any other official visits are set up. I don't have intel on this particular statement, but I'm hopeful that SU might be able to seal the deal on this unofficial visit before any other visits occur. I'll keep you all posted! :)

If he commits now I assume that would lock him in for 2023?

I've seen reports that SU is recruiting him for 2023 or 2024. Adam W. has told me his offer is for 2023. I don't know, frankly, but my assumption is that if SU were to land a commitment from Marcus in the near future, it would likely be for 2023. Just a guess though. Sorry!

That is not up to us unfountantley. We were supplied them by the university.
There are plenty of places to print them up, a good one in the mall. And lots of pictures available on line. And I imagine this forum would be happy to throw in a few $$ top make this happen if there is no other way

Interesting that they are stating this is no an NIL visit. Does that mean they are traveling in on their own dime? Just weeks after his official with an offer for a funded trip from Weitsman still apparently on the table?

I think it has to be on their dime.

It’s a very important decision for Marcus and his family. Parents visit colleges all the time and they still have to pay the majority of college costs when they start school. This initial cost is well worth it for a free ride.

For officials, can’t the school pay for one parent.
(I know this is not an official.)

Was their dime once Adam Weitsman’s dime?
While I believe there were at least one or more reports out there stating that Adam W. was planning to host Marcus on an unofficial visit, Adam W. never shared that with me as being the case. Perhaps it came from Marcus or someone in his camp.

So if he took his official a few weeks ago and the family is paying their own way to bring the group to the WF game, that’s probably a pretty good sign, isn’t it?
As I've said for a while now, I personally believe that SU is the favorite, with UCLA right there as well. Of course, if he picks someone other than the 'Cuse, you all can totally crush me! :)

I just presumed that Adam is sending them a NetJets charter.

Youre the man either way
