Best part of revisiting this thread was the Mike Waters tweet that Buddy won't take up a scholarship

Ahh, those were the days...

You never know how things will turn out with recruits.

But this kid had some "dog" in him, and had the type of versatility that several of the top wings in our system have had -- he would have made a nice player here.

yeah, don't know what this kid's contingency plans are or where his head's at but he won't get drafted

I think Oats was coach at UB at the time and does recruit well. Williams was more of a slasher in high school IIRC. He was shooting 41.7 % from 3 pt in his G league stint. Def been in the lab working on his game.
