A joke to who? I never said it was life changing money but it's pretty obvious that a lot of these players no longer think of playing in the d league as being disgraceful. It is definitely gaining popularity and when more money starts funneling into it it will continue to grow. You are forgetting the point that most of these kids in school don't want to be in school. They literally just want to play ball and get paid and the sooner they can do that the better for them (not saying I agree) and to some of these kids this desk job money is life changing kind of money. It is what it is but look at how many players declared this year regardless of where they are taken in the draft. D league is gonna be stacked with talent that may or may not ever see the NBA. It is what it is but unless ncaa compensates players (not saying I agree with) then it's the reality we face.
